My name is Tyler Carlson, I am 21 years old. However, I have been vigorously involved in permaculture design for over 3 years of my life. My training and experiences in permaculture have taken me to a variety of ecosystems. My most beneficial training has been on the big island of Hawaii, where I have lived and worked for 2 years on a large variety of projects. Some of which include; family and commercial farms, botanical gardens, native reforestation, educational institutes, gorilla operations, and fully functional eco-communities. My expertise includes extensive knowledge of tropical agro-forestry systems with a emphasis on Polynesian crops. Although I am young man my abilities and skills are impressive. I am currently living in the south Willamette valley, OR engaged in an internship on transitional technologies. Afterwards, my primary focus is to cultivate my skills as builder.
