McCormick Creek Camp & Gardens was the workshop site for Sepp Holzer's first visit to California back in 2013.

We are located in a remote area of the San Francisco Bay Area, a rural spot rich in history and interesting people.

We've grown a lot in recent years, had our share of short term helpers, and are looking for some longer term people to support the very active, low-impact campground and the growing foundations of a small permaculture farm.

The caretaker would assist the property manager for 10 hours/week with infrastructure maintenance and improvements.

We could also use a fill-in campground host for a few weekends till the end of October.

Please send me a message via the website below for details.

Thanks, Mark

We are still seeking a long term Caretaker, but the Campground Host position has been filled.

We've grown a lot in recent years, had our share of short term helpers, and are looking for some longer term people to support the very active, low-impact campground and the growing foundations of a small permaculture farm.

The caretaker would assist the property manager for 15 hours/week with infrastructure maintenance and improvements.

The campground host works most weekends, April-October.

Josef thank you very much! I logged in again and checked the account, it worked!
I am setting up the osx version of the multidoge wallet now.
The permies coin will work on this wallet too, is that right?
cheers!

I've been hoping someone would start a permies/permaculture crypto currency! thanks for all that hard work and inspiration.

Can you give me some insight into why you chose dogecoin as a base, instead of one of the other established coins? I'm still biased against it because of it's explosive popularity when it was first launched, it looked like a prank to me at first, and it's value on http://coinmarketcap.com/ shot up to something like first place, i took a screen shot because it looked like the site had been hacked!

anyway, here's my address, i would love to join the game:

I will second that recommendation of JL Hudson! They gave a presentation/critique on "Invasive Species" at the Sepp Holzer workshop in Loma Mar this year, which many people said was their favorite part of the whole workshop. I will be posting a youtube video of it soon and will post the link here. (The co-owner's name is David by the way)

JL Hudson has one of the most interesting catalog's available, but non-veggies are only listed by Latin Name so it can be difficult for most people to search through it.

The most BEAUTIFUL catalog, in my opinion, is from Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds

I can heartily recommend a Kawasaki Mule 610 4x4. I have steeply wooded undeveloped land and it is an essential tool for hauling logs, people, equipment and manure. Has a tilt bed and headlights, roll bars (came in handy once) and easy to put a winch on it. Good on fuel and very reliable. Only drawback is that it doesn't have a backup light installed, but that's simple enough to overcome. Otherwise, it's been an excellent investment, especially since I bought it used on craigslist from good owner.

I would like to take a RMH workshop for 2-3 days, portable or permanent. Since I am in California I wouldn't be able to come for more than one trip, but would be willing to travel to Montana if you and Ernie and Erica are teaching it.
Cheers!
