Hi there,

As you may see from my bio I am very keen to film a tv series about Permaculture.

I won't drill down into all of the various areas of the idea, but I will give the broad strokes in a bid to help those of you interested in deciding if it would be something that you would like to see happen, and if so, possibly help get off the ground.

*NB: The initial concept for the show revolved around this show being shot in the UK, however I am open to film and be filmed anywhere that there is support for the series. I am sure the BBC will want to get hold of me if I break in another country.

The basic concept for the show, is to follow me as I am introduced to and trained in Permaculture. The show will follow in great detail the work involved in my training as a Permaculture Designer.
The idea is then that I will be followed as I implement a wide range of projects both around my home in Norfolk, UK and also in my wider community including local schools, care homes and community projects.

Further programmes will see me travelling to meet groups working in a similar manner both in the UK and abroad (or the other way round.)

I think this show format will work well, as I am a regular guy with a high school education and a stint in the military behind me rather than a graduate "expert" who cannot connect with regular people in the street.

My background makes me unique, and has given me the ability to find common ground with almost anyone I meet.
This puts me in a position where i am able to get information across in a fun and memorable way that people seem to enjoy.

On any courses that I have held, be in bakery or clay ovenbuilding, one of the most repeated points is that it was fun, but more importantly what I taught stuck.

I would like anyone reading this, if you made it this far! To go to my website and have a look see.
After that, if you feel that you or someone you know is in a position to help me get the show commissioned, please feel free to get in touch.

I really do look forward to hearing from you.

Hi there,

I am so pleased to have found such a vibrant and busy forum. I really hope that over time I will get to know some of you, especially if we end up on projects together.

I won't repeat my bio on here, but it would mean an awful lot if some or all of you could take the time to read my bio and visit my website.

In need of public support and networking, my project stands to benefit all of us as a global community in this wonderful biosphere of ours, so please dig in and show your support in any way you can.

All the very best.
