The realtor, Micahel Oliphant, is a Canadian ex-pat and his site shows sizes in metric:

structure
Built area (m²) 102 ...being square meters, that's 1098 square feet*

land
Property Area (ha) 11.62 ...being hectares, that's 28.7 acres

*This is without the casita which has a finished bathroom and part of a kitchenette but is not otherwise finished.
Uruguay is a wonderful place to live (this is our 8th year), but we must return to the US to rebuild our remote business wiped out by the pandemic lockdowns.

Weather is moderate (no snow but cold winter) and warm, dry summer. Inexpensive ($50/month health insurance for average age 68). Moderate, stable political situation. Ranked 94th country on Worldometer for Pandemic impact (1/7th that of the USA). More. European style like living in Spain or Italy than Central America.

We are 30-35 minutes from the hundreds of miles of beaches at La Floresta/Atlantida, 1 hour to each: Atlantic resort Punta del Este, the capital Montevideo or the hills of Minas. Nearest towns 10-15 minutes away: Solis de Mataojo & Soca.

We do not use Glyphosate around the 3,000+ olive trees to produce premium olive oil, I want to buy the first tons for a unique market.

I tell all I know about the chacra, living in Uruguay, owning property and olive oil here: https://tourgrp.wordpress.com/2020/10/02/olivegrove/

We live in Cayo and have heard that there is someone experimenting with cob building techniques on a small scale so far. I have a friend who wants to hire him to build his house. I also know of Mexican guys who will come and put on a course. Otherwise I have no direct experience.
