I know this an old post, but I am hoping your still around; I am new to the forum and like you have some land in northern AZ (Navajo County) that I am planning on building some earthbag homes/structures on. I would be curious and inquisitive as to your knowledge and experience with this type of building in AZ. I would welcome the opportunity to help with your project if it is still underway. I have just begun looking into building with earthbag construction in Navajo County AZ. I am trying to gather as much info as possible at this time before I get started; in that search I came across this firm which will do the engineering of your plans to code: http://www.structure1.com/index.html . I have called and spoken to the owner and he has done other earthbag projects to code (approved) in AZ.
