Hello All,

I am on a mission, to turn a small front lawn into a yummie edible forest ( Started with Banana trees and Coconut trees) I want to grow roses to make some salves/oils,
and I am reaching out to my permie friends for any and all advice.

I am currently living in Zone 10 Southern Florida , and I want to Grow Roses, The rose community recommends to use Fortunia root Stock Roses, for success,

I am turning to my permie for your wisdom!

1) using Hugelkutlur in Zone 10 with Root Stock Roses, Does anyone know if this will work or just amplify the challenges of Growing roses in Southern Florida
a. I have had great luck with hugelkutlur and banana trees, but its a different root system!
2. How to Control those sand mites and Thrips naturally that make it their mission to destroy our roses
3. Any companion planting recommendations?
4. What plants or how could I keep the soil at a PH of 6.5

I appreciate any knowledge/wisdom that you have to share!!

Has anyone seen this? Just call me Crazy, but what the He!!! does the EPA have their noses in this for?

The EPA is also set to ban production and sale of 80% of current wood-burning stoves. Who knows what aroused its ire against these innocuous devices? But this will impose a real hardship on people who live in remote areas, such as much of Alaska. The EPA has arbitrarily decided that stoves cannot emit more than 12 micrograms of fine particulate emissions per cubic meter of air. To put that silly limit in perspective, Bell notes that “secondhand tobacco smoke in a closed car can expose a person to 3,000–4,000 micrograms” per cubic meter."

I live in zone 10b and make my own deodorant Ingredients are organic coconut oil, baking soda, arrow root powder , and 10 drops of purify which is an essential oil from doterra Ad then 5 drops of whatever essential oil I want to add to the batch I have made sandle wood, wild orange, elevation, lemon.
