I am trying to determine if the black soldier fly occurs in Victoria, BC.
I have seen that there exist occurrence records for the black soldier fly in southern BC but I'm not sure if it occurs in Victoria or, more importantly, if it occurs there in large enough numbers to have wild population numbers sufficiently high to enable a person to use a BSF biopod (see DIY BSF biopod

Does anyone in this forum know of black fly biopods operating successfully in Victoria BC or in the surrounding area?
