Trying to figure out how to attach pictures of our land, it has about 150 coconut trees, 30 various fruit trees, No one has been caring for the land for a while as best I can tell. I see some of the fruit trees have diseases, which I will have to take a look at when we move there. planning to build the house a chick house that uses Natural Farming technics. So we will sell eggs for cash, the farm is planned to run off Solar energy. We are higher up into the mountains so the temperatures are very nice, at about 25c during the day and no winter. loving the tropical climate there.

No pictures as of yet, My wife will be off to get some in the next 90 days. on here next trip back. At this point everything is a guess, I am just trying to outline the idea of what should be going on. I have to build a place to live. I have to build sheds for storage, The I guessing the chickens well come next. as I need them to make compost. Then the vegetable beds, will have to be dealt with.

Starting a homestead farm in the Philippines. It is at the planning stage now. Right now, I am still working in Taiwan as an English teacher. But soon we will be buying 6 hectares which is almost 15 acres, in the mountains. I have been a gardener, had a few chickens over the years. I have even build a high volume aquaponics system. Which will not work in the environment I plan on living in. So it looks like I will have to go back to the old fashion way of doing everything. I have lived in the Philippines before with my wife. But at that time I didn't plan on farming as a way of life. this time I will there is no other way to make a living. Planning on vegetable farming, chickens, Goats, and something I'm not keen on pigs. For my wife pigs are the thing to have other than bacon I am not a big pig fan.

But I really could use some help planning this out. At this point it feels almost overwhelming to me in scope. I have the house planned in a two stage thing. first I will have a bamboo house built, then I will work a permanent structure small farm house. wells will have to be dug. etc etc ... So if anyone is out there with knowledge on setting up a farm it would be very helpful.
