I have made several hugelkultur beds in Mexico with much success. However, It is illegal to transport wood in DF for some reason and finding and transporting it with a certified supplier has proven both cost prohibitive. I do make biochar and Bokachi and am wondering if there are any ideas of how to use this growing methodology in a way that incorporates biochar (inoculated) with wood chips as well as with cardboard that has been inoculated with saprophitic fungi as a method of building the beds up and keeping the carbon and fungi happy. I am open to any suggestions.
