Hello, I have really enjoyed all the posts about alternative energy and especially the rocket stove mass heater articles and forums. I am planning to build one in the next couple of weeks. Does anyone have any experience or advice about building out of concrete? I don't have a lot of access to clay soil and have been thinking I could build the bench/heat mass out of concrete instead of cob.I have access to large quantities of cement fairly cheaply. Anyone have any experience with this, or have any reasons why this wouldn't work. Any ideas about the heat storage capacity of cement vs cob? I appreciate any advice.
