Hi!
My girlfriend and I are building our first 8" system in our cold and rented house in Italy. To protect the wooden floor we builded the combustion unit (made with firebrick) above 6" of empty bricks (of which i post the picture) filled with vermiculite. We layed this insulation right above the wood of the floor and we are a little worried about the amount of heat that could reach the floor. Do you think that we have done enough not to burn the house?
Thanks to everybody
