I want to build a rocket type stove/mass heater in a small, portable package that I can take camping in a wall tent.
I am new to rocket stove tech and plan to build a couple of small stoves for cooking before tackling a larger scale heater.
Currently my idea is to construct the feed tube, combustion chamber and chimney out of black stove pipe. Looping the exhaust pipe through a box filled with sand/clay mix then exiting up through the stove jack in the roof of the tent.
Probably try to build it out of 5" stove pipe.
Has anyone attempted anything like this?
