You can find an 18 day compost section in the Permaculture Soils DVD which you can watch here: https://www.fmtv.com/watch/permaculture-soils

You'll need to sign up but you can get a free trail which will give you enough time to watch it. I took his online PDC a couple of years back and there is nothing you'll miss from only seeing this one

So I'm registered for the Earthworks and Water Harvesting course which is running between the 23rd and 28th of February in Jamaica, at Blue Paradise Farms. I thought I'd share it for anyone else who is perhaps interested in taking it! You can find it here: http://www.blueparadisefarms.com/earthworks-2015/

I was booked on a course this past October which unfortunately didn't run because there were not enough participants to make it viable which I feel is a real shame as these courses are few and far between as it is! Here's to hoping that some people on these forums are looking for this exact set of skills and can come along to join in with the fun in the soil and sun!

Rosemary, that really is some brilliant advice, thankyou.

I am in a similar situation to Lucas, where I have grand visions of my own institute in the future to provide almost exactly as he is describing but also with a grey area of knowledge of which paths to take. I have recently been caught up in the process of deciphering which courses and education paths to choose but now I know; action!

Lucas; if you are registered on permacultureglobal.com look up an individual named 'Guy Miklos'. He has recently completed his diploma with no tutor support whatsoever and has uploaded his work for all of us to see. It's very, very impressive and proves that it's what you do that counts, but now that he has the diploma it probably does help his professional case for being a permaculture designer.

I'm off to find myself a new project

I'm unsure as to whether this is the best place for a thread like this, I'm open to suggestions on where else to put it if so

I'm trying out a bit of shameless self promotion right now in the hope that I can get myself in a position where I'm able to contribute some skills and knowledge to those that need the help....so I started an online crowd funding campaign to get myself some advanced courses under my belt!

I've started it on Gofundme which can be found here: http://www.gofundme.com/olliespermaculture

I have a good amount of hands on experience since completing my PDC a year ago and now I want to get fully immersed in this wonderful world!

Hoping there are some other people out there who share the same vision as me for the integration of Permaculture professionals in all industries.

Thanks for taking the time to have a look and happy growing
