My Question: I would like to build a rocket stove using quick set concrete and a 5 gallon pail, but read one post that said concrete can explode if it gets too hot. So, I researched more and read about perlite mixed in with concrete is safer. Does anyone have a formula for what I want to do that is safe? It will be used outside only. If it turns out, I would like to make some to give to friends. Once made, can tiles made of: clay, glass or stone be put on the outside for decorations after it is made? If yes, what is the best "stuff" to stick them on with?
