The pictured tiny-houses are from www.oldhickorybuildings.com. The roof style is "lofted barn", maybe not the picture, but usually 7 foot walls, and the one I would have delivered would have a 16 foot loft, and a 4 ft porch. It is made of standard materials, but I would complete it with ecological products and seal in the pressure treated wood.

Hello,

I am a 30 year old female college-educated horticulturist and gardener. I also have been an environmental educator, and have a fine array of organizational and farm related skills, such as graphic design, pruning, native plant restoration, painting, databases, construction, leading work parties, space organizing, writing articles and small publications, and etc...

I am looking for a small piece of land to put a prefabricated tiny-house and a place to have a greenhouse and private nursery. A private nursery is not usually open to members of the permies, though the business owner may hold plant sales there or at a farmer's market, or to other nurseries. I am flexible about many things about where this would be, including whether people visit, but I would like maybe 1/4 acre or more with which to place my plants, and hopefully create extensive polyculture raised beds.

The tiny-house would be moved onto the property by a very adept tow-driver with a very flexible truck, so no bumpy off-roading, but manoeuvring around trees or other farm items is assisted by a rear engine working to expertly swerve the trailor rear inch by inch into place.

I am looking for a place with access to water and electricity, and optimally internet access and/or verizon reception.

I am excited to pay cash/check, or possibly help you on your property for partial trade using the skills mentioned above on months that you request my services. For example I can propagate trees or shrubs for building hedges, blinds, windbreaks, orchards, and deer and domestic animal food hedges to improve your property use and value, but rent is simpler often. Either way, I don't have a preference, though I usually like to be involved in the land I'm on.

In Washington, I would like to live in Whatcom county , or perhaps maybe in Skagit or Island or Thurston county somewhere where it is beautiful and quieter than the city, probably not in the city limits, though I am open to many possibilities. If in Oregon, I would want to be nearish Portland OR.

I am open to living in community or more on my own, but in the latter case I would prefer to be a tad closer to town than I would want to be if I had sustainably-minded community out there.

I have included a picture of the example tiny house model I would be getting, 10x20 ft including a small porch.

If you have such a plot of land or a great lead, send me a private message. Thankyou so much!
