Imagine an ecovillage available to everyone, where none are excluded. Not only for rich or middle class, not only for young or old, not only for able-bodied or Vegans or Christians. Imagine living in a community where people interact as equals. Where meals come from healthy food grown in our own backyard, and nature is just outside the door. Imagine children growing up playing together outside free and safe to learn together and express their creativity.
And what creative interest would you pursue if you did not have to worry about rent or mortgage, but were free to work doing what was most meaningful to you? The battle for our personal liberation, for social justice, and ecological sustainability are all intertwined and we can solve multiple problems at once through building intentional community.
Unlike trying to escape the rat-race alone, with the support of community you do not need as much money or expertise, because we can all pitch in together. Come as you are and bring what you have, even if you have nothing but love and desire for a better life.
We are looking for people interested in self-sufficient living who dream of moving out to the country and living as part of an eco-friendly community. Whether you are young and dreaming of farming, a family looking for a village to raise our children, or ready to retire and enjoy and peaceful life in the country, we can all become a community.
Whether you cannot afford to buy your own home with property, or you can or have but worry about being isolated and lonely living out on your own, lets work together to create a beautiful and thriving community. Never pay rent again! We aim to live sustainably on acreage rent free with no mortgage. We would live richly without making much money, practicing permaculture to provide the bulk of our food.
Although this may sound all utopian, we have many years experience in many skills and I feel my whole life has been leading up to this, and I have a dedication to make it work. I have already aquired much of the resources, money, and knowledge needed to help get such an idealist project started and know there are others out there ready to share this experience.
The size of the project and location are still being determined, although we are currently on West coast of USA, we are looking at more affordable places like the Appalachia or Puerto Rico, where like 90% of food is currently imported. If you have the need, time, money, energy or love for this kind of project lets talk more about specifics!
