Hi, I'm working on a monoculture orchard that I'd like to transform into a poly culture orchard. The soil is very compacted and in some area there are weeds. I'm looking into emending the soil fertility and favor de compaction through planting of daikon and nitrogen fixing cover crop. Any suggestion on how to get rid of the weeds to make room for my em ending crops? No lasagna, it's a huge orchard and it would defeat the idea of solving compactation.
