Our home base is Missouri- but for the STEAM Camps - Everywhere! We are looking for instructors to run workshops in their city or nearest city, so that this spreads across the world to make open source production a reality. Our big vision is to transition the economic paradigm from proprietary to collaborative.

We are recruiting instructors for the Open Source Microfactory STEAM Camp here. We build open source technology - including tractors, 3D printers, aquaponic greenhouses, etc. Part of the goal is to develop a sustainable pipeline for open source product developement that leverages immersion training and incentive challenges to move open product development forward in a significant way.

We are working on it - hoping to produce really good video documentation this time. Can you recommend some good video producers?

Hi Friends,

Are you interested in 3D printing? For us, we want to print aquaponic growing towers, fence posts, plastic lumber, and more for our Seed Eco-Home. We will be building a 6 foot tall 3D printer in our upcoming workshop, in addition to a bunch more smaller 3D printers. Do you want to build your own 3D printer - in one day? Sign up for our workshop, August 12, 2017.

Thanks,

Jacqueline, we were hoping that people would pick up the techniques after our workshops - but since effective execution requires 100s of hours of prep time - we are prividing an immersion training program for people to replicate this work.

Great news! We're 120% funded, and have a coule days left. Support modular open source eco-housing and follow progress updates at http://kck.st/293ISTN.

Chris Lumpkin wrote:Marcin, this is an amazing system! Very relevant to Permaculture, with integrated systems, a socially integrative approach to building, and spreading the ideas in an open source ecosystem.

This site occasionally does a "post your questions for an expert this week and get a chance to win a free book/ebook/etc" events. Would you guys be willing to do something like that? I'm sure your kickstarter campaign could use some attention right now!

Yes, the Kickstarter could use additional support to bring affordable modular eco-housing to everyone - https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/622508883/open-building-institute-eco-building-toolkit

Chris Lumpkin - absolutely! How do we do that? Email me at marcin at opensourceecology dot org for faster response.
