Not sure if this is the best sub forum for this question. I am relatively new to permaculture principals but I have been aggressively bitten by the bug and most of what I am learning makes great sense to me. I am currently enrolled in a PDC However I have questions about not tilling my garden and going with a mulch instead. I am super visual so if anyone has a link to a vid or a good book on the subject that would be great. I am mostly concerned with working the soil and planting in the spring.....?

Thanks

Building my first bed right now as well. So I'm of no help but I wish you well! Mine is on some poor soil so I'm building up, up up....

Yes indeed! western Central. Love it! But winter is hard and long! But it's part of the magic of living here! Don't tell anyone though...

Would be a looooong winter... Costal areas tend to be milder but it will still be a long winter... could be done... but you get the idea... Good luck and welcome!

Hi Folks, I have been lurking here for a while, but my permaculture passion is building so much I can no longer hold back... I'm a homesteader and a bit of a prepper, I guess you would say. I am looking to expand what I am doing and have several grand visions for moving forward... I am looking forward to being part of this community.

Commentary by my wife on our homesteading journey... I think it's a great read but I suppose I am biased....
