Any permaculture/sustainable-living/simple-living-minded folks in the Toledo, Ohio area?  If so, what are you up to?  Do you know of any events or activities going on?  Any regularly meeting groups or other gatherings?  I know there is plenty of interest here, but there don't seem to be any communities forming around these topics.  I have gone to many activities at the 577 Foundation, but they don't offer such related classes in the summer.  Come on, it's gardening season, there must be something going on!

That's what I was thinking, but every picture of milkweed I've seen show the leaves are opposing pairs, or the picture is not good enough to tell for sure. The leaves on this plant are not opposing pairs, but single leaves. Still wondering, hoping I can find a definitive picture to confirm.
