Hi everyone,New guy here,first post.I'm looking to set my wood stove up threw my celing.from the top of the stove it's about 4.5-5 feet to celing.Can I use single wall stove pipe untill the celing thimble?then I'll use double wall threw attic space.that being said,I seen on Lowe's(iirc)website ,of a double wall telescopic pipe.description says, from 38"-68"....or am I taking it wrong.I'm interested in that pipe because I only have to go about 5'at the very most to get out of combustion zone.I'm not sure about the roof pitch,I'll figure that out for the flashing.then on top of double wall on roof,I'm thinking that it'll be a couple feet to be even wilth peak,could I use single wall again?I'm asking all this is because I just don't have $700+ to get all double wall from start to finish.I don't want to skimp on attic space.thanks all.
