I have used bentonite clay to seal leaks in my pond it worked pretty good on the bottom,  You may want to use lime and then cover it with clay for the side.  

I have been growing concord grapes in Staten Island NY for the past 5 years I have had a problem with black rot the past 3 years. This year I kept the vines very open to air flow and have sprayed them with neem oil and it has decreased the rate of black rot drastically so far.

I have a 6 ' x 22 ' open porch I want to enclose for both a greenhouse and passive solar heat. I am also considering a rainwater catch system below the porch which may be used a thermal mass. Also considering solar panels for fans and water pumps . Any suggestions on what to use for a rainwater catch systen and design ideas for the greenhouse would be great. I am also planning on installing radient floor heat from a woodburning water based furnace which will also be heating my house.
