Crystal Fisher wrote:This might help you. It took me a little while to get a contact number for you. Call the Texas Organic Farmers & Gardeners Association at (972) 462-5165, either Amanda or Mark should be able to direct you. Here is their website: http://www.tofga.org/ With next year's conference in San Antonio, you might find it worth your while to come.

There was a lady who attended the same class that I went to. She was from Mexico and said similar things as you have. But, I don't know her name. We attended the same class together. When you talk to them, ask who taught the class on getting certified organic. She's the lady/teacher that you need to discuss this with. She was at the same conference as below. Give them that information.

Also, you might want to talk to Howard Garrett. He has a call-in radio talk show where he's known as the Dirt Doctor out of Dallas. He was one of the speakers at the conference that I attended in 2011 at the Killeen Civic Center. You can locate a lot of information online about him. You might try writing to him through his website. It's hard to catch him there, I would think. Of course, you could also call in. I'm sure his listeners would find this interesting as well. http://www.dirtdoctor.com/

I hope that Mexico can retain it's organic corn that's been grown for centuries and that you are able to push back Monsanto from destroying those crops. My friend, I wish you well. I'm a Master Gardener from Central Texas and wish I could help you more, but "No habla, espaƱol." I wish you the best. I believe that I've given you some good resources.

Much success to you, Rogelio Serrano!

Hello!!!

I found you guys because I build a rocket heater in the past for my house. However in this occasion its different topic:

Id like to know if you guys know of someone that can train me for certifying ranches for organic grow. I am the Operations Manager of a hospital in Mexico its owned by Dr. Wents owner of USANA (Salt lake city Utah) the name is SANOVIV and we have very high standards in regards the food that we give to our guests. Even though all the food is organic we would like to give the next step: Certifying our vendors and auditing them occasionally

Any contacts?

Also we would like to train ranchers and make them grow organic food in the cases that they don't grow organic.

Thanks
