I was really pleased to come across this forum - what a knowledeable bunch!
Given that we can't wrap apples in newspaper these days, as most of the inks are carcinogenic, what are people out there using?
In the old days apples in the stores used to come wrapped in some sort of waxed paper, but I've never managed to find any online - possibly because I don't know what you call that type of paper!
Certainly I've tried grease-proof paper, but it's really too thick and stiff.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Niki
