I'm relatively new to all of this and I know that the idea has been considered and tweaked a bit, but I was wondering if there was a maximum length for the horizontal length of a Jtube? The idea that is bouncing around in my head is I want to have a long enough space to fit a length of metal to forge with.
The air intake for the Jtube would be located at the base of the feed, but not the feed tube itself. It would be a similar design to emc4u2's rocket stove design.

Most Jtube designs that I've seen had a horizontal length of 18in or shorter, but would the design not be feasible if it was extended another foot? I'd like to hear your thoughts.
