Just a noob with a PDC and not much else except a burning desire to permaculture everything and everyone in sight.  Unfortunately, I'm too shy to do anything very dramatic.  So far.

Just saw the webinar this morning.  I can't attend (darn that work thing) but signed up anyway in the hope that there will be a recording I can watch later.

Highly unlikely that we'll be able to make it just because of previous commitments and all but sure wish we could. I'll add Discovery Park to the list of places you might consider for a get together as, at least back in the day, it used to be fairly nice. Depending on your agenda you might even get a little "publicity" if you help a gathering in a public area. Personally, I think I'd rather just keep it a permie peeps but I already said I doubt we'll be going so, whatever.

One of the downsides of any park though is the prohibition against "adult beverages" so that may be something to consider. Or not. Just depends on the folks. Also, it may be a little damp this weekend (YEA!!!) which should not be off putting to anyone who is accustomed to the area but it is nice to have shelter just to keep any vittles dry.

Hope y'all have a great time!

According to some Paul always says obnoxious things so you probably already have TONS to choose from!

Serriously though it wouldn't necessarily need to be obnoxious. The standard podcast closing catch phrase is cool.

If you have any folks that can create Android and/or iOS "apps", a "soundboard" might be a lot of fun. Just a thought.

Keep up the good work and thanks for everything!
I hope I don't get yelled at too much for posting this here but I figured this made more sense than any other forum.

I ran across http://www.lamppakuuma.com/ while exploring links and stuff mentioned in a discussion on a Rocket Mass Heaters FaceBook group I joined. The discussion had some folks advocating tossing in a soda can every now and then to prevent creosote buildup. Eeeeew! There is just all kinds of wrong with that but the thought that there should be ANY creosote in a rocket heater is just plain weird.

Anyway, after flowing links and such around for a bit I eventually came across http://www.lamppakuuma.com/. The efficiencies they tout are crazy good and I'm pretty sure rival the numbers being tossed around in the recent about "Rocket Mass Heater Innovators" podcasts. I searched the forums for any mention of this company or it's products but came up with zip.

I'm hoping you good folks will take pity on a noob like me and share your opinions and knowledge.
