So, on the topic of Nickel Iron batteries and suppliers, there are companies in China that you can order from directly, including Chang Hong. I would be wary of some of the other manufacturers that don't have a track record in the US, but if you can order directly from the manufacturer, why not cut out the middle-men here in the US? Some of the companies have minimum orders of 10 or 20 or 100 (Chang Hong) batteries though. I don't see how that could be such a bid deal however as some people are looking to build 48 volt systems that would require 40 batteries to begin with. I would think that several people looking to purchase these batteries at probably half of what Iron Edison, Zappworks and BeUtilityFree are selling them for could make a group purchase in order to meet the minimum order quantity. I could be interested in such an arrangement.
