I have a 100 ac farm located between Fredericktown and Greenville just off Hwy 67. We are about 100 miles from St Louis. I have owned the farm for about 3 years and have spent the last two years cleaning it up but there is still a lot of work cleaning up perimeter fence rows ect. One of my son's and I repaired part of the fences this past fall but would like to put in new fencing soon.
I thought about selling property but I think prices are low at present so I have decided to run stockers next year from May to November. I would also be open to other business ventures which I would need help with.
There is a lot of potential as we have an abundance of water. A large spring that flows 80,000 gal /day plus 1 1/2 ac lake and two year creeks thru the property. I have 5 barns with a total area of 8000 sf, four of them with concrete floors.
65 ac pasture/ 35 ac mixed woods.
There is a 4 BR house with full basement as well. There was an apartment in the basement but I tore it out and would have to be rebuilt.
I would be open to talking with you about your ideas etc.
