Hey good day everyone. Great posts.

One bit of small talk that we should get rid of is "how are you" to strangers. Like honestly its fine for most people. Some people its sorta going towards rude.
My favorite is at the doctors office waiting room. Its sorta obvious people that show up there are not great or good. So I think we can skip over that bit of small talk unless your the doctor.

Hey everyone! My trick is to get that body temp up. Plus Lots Of Water.

I have also been looking more and more about probiotics. They seem to be more about just health and digestive health but lots of people feel to get sick less well taken. I started looking into fermented drinks or pops/soda that was mentioned in a few of the podcasts. So I am trying out kefir at the end of the week.

Is it possible that probiotics and the bad guys that make you sick be like aerobic and anaerobic soil??? Sorry if that is a bit of a tangent. happy new year everyone.

Hey everyone. Great ideas but I didn't see much on how to make your dryer more efficient. I know dryers are bad and all but my parents dont want to get away from it yet.
So I got them a spin dryer that I have used when I washed all my cloths by hand. A spin dryer is like a trash can shape and size that spins at a few 1000 rpm. It only takes a few seconds to spin 90% of the water out. So washing machine using home made soap then into the spin dryer for less then a minute. Then into the normal dryer for just a few minutes. The dryer aslo is used with wool dryer balls. The dryer balls left and seperate the cloths as they spin and takes out the static. So the dryer balls make it more effective and no need for dryer sheets ever again.
So check out a spin dryer and 100% wool dryer balls for the family members who want to save a ton of time and help save a bit of power.
The link at the top is for my dryer. Good posts everyone and Happy New Year.

Hey Marie.
I have made little root cellars in the desert just in deep sand and shade. Not perfect but helps a ton to keep stuff cool.
lots of cellars have a vent to the outside and that helps with the temp. The vent is normally opened cooler parts of the year. Its harder to do when its warm all day but opening it at night when its cool can work. Burring in dirt for helping with its cool temps and for its insulation values. That and venting at the right times can make it work great. Otherwise If you use city water. You can make a heat exchanger in your cellar to cool it when you run the water. Other wise solar dehydrator are great.
Hope that helps a bit let me know if you need more help.

Hey Adam
Great question and love the idea. I have faith in your idea with the branches. I say go for it and there is a good chance that you will have better luck next year. Voles population are cyclic so every three to four years boom. So fingers crossed it wont be as bad next year no matter what. Here is a link where I got my info from and is not permi but does have a lot of info about voles.
