first time post..
looking to install a second wood stove in Southern CT , heating this 2500 sq feet is not cutting it I have a RSF stove that i have tapped into the air handler of the house, heats upstairs pretty well when it gets going, but downstairs has no heat. looking to install a second wood stove in the cellar, taking the flue pipe out an unused casement window.. wondering if i could design a portable "thermal battery" of sorts, by building a box out of wonderboard, snaking 6 inch flue pipe through it and covering with cob... bad idea?
