The design below is a dumbed down / stripped version of the final house design. It does not include any interior stick-construction or anything of that nature. It's simply the walls. I've included several images include the spec sheet listed on the top-view. I am uncertain how best to go about determining how many bags would be needed to complete such a design and am hoping others can assist with helping me determine this. Although the cost of bags are relatively low I would prefer to not over-buy, as they say, a penny saved is a penny earned.
The specs for the buttresses were not included, but they are 6 feet tall and 1.5' wide and thick. The lower most buttresses are 3 feet tall and 1.5' wide/thick. I am not certain if buttresses would be needed for this design and a wall height of 8 feet but included them in the design anyhow for aesthetics.
It should also be noted that technically there would be an extra foot of bags under ground as part of the foundation so I guess technically the walls would require 9' of bags.
Thanks for the assistance, it's much appreciated.
