I went to Scrubly.  Their automatic reply said that I had two tokens - one for the 4 film set in 2015 and one for the 8 film set in 2016.  Both have expired.

Reading further, I found that they are shutting down downloads at the end of July, so I need to rush this.

Their reply gave a contact email if I needed more help, but it went nowhere - the address seems to no longer be valid.

Any idea what I should do next (other than read the rest of this thread)?

I searched for Aug 2016 and did not find it.
I get about 300 emails a day, so I may have missed it.
What words would be in the subject line or who would have sent it?

I believe I supported the Kickstarter for the 4 disk DVD set or maybe the 8 disk DVD set.
I believe I have not received them.
How do I check what I supported?

I later saw that the theory about Linux downloads was correct. I was able to watch a file while it downloaded. Download created two file names - one with the expected name - and another with the expected name plus ".part" appended to the end. The regular file was length 0. The ".part" file slowly grew to the expected size. After the download completed successfully, the file was moved to the expected name and the ".part" file was erased.

Conclusion, If someone is using Linux to download and they get a file name ending in .part, they had a bad download and need to retry.

Bottom line - looks like I got it.

Thanks for answering. I am using a Lenovo T60 laptop. I am running Ubuntu 14.04 LTS - a Linux distribution. Much experience with computers, but not much with Linux and none downloading and expanding zip files.

Bizarro - I tried to open the latest download. Archive Manager listed 19 files. I chose the Extract option. It pulled out one file, "wheaton-permaculture-263-update-part1.mp3" with 15.7 MB. It is playing fine as I type. But, I can't get it to extract any other files. Then I went back and tried again and it worked. Looks like all 19 came through. The rocket-mass-heater-gob.zip file was 334.0 MB.

More bizarro - when I sent the Rhythmbox music player looking, it found hundreds of podcast and permaculture files. Thank you for all the candy.

The typical download that didn't work had rocket-mass-heater-podcast-gob.zip with 0 bytes and rocket-mass-heater-gob.zip.part with 334.0 MB. That may be a clue - in Linux, if you download and get the filename you were looking for plus another one with ".part" added to the end, something went wrong with the download.

I tried a third time. When I was about to download, it said the download would be 319 MB (I think I remember) but after it downloaded the length of the .zip was 0. The length of .zip.part was 191,314,384

Unzip gave the error message "End-of-central-directory signature not found."

Unziping the .part file got the same error message.

I tried to unzip in the GUI using the Archive Manager and Extract.

On the command line, I tried Unzip.

I tried it again: I got the gob.zip with a length of zero.

The first time I got the gob.zip with a length of zero and gob.zero.part with a length of 334.0 MB.
