My name is Rebecca and my soon-to-be husband Thomas and I are looking for live-in work opportunities starting at the end of August/beginning of September. I am 24, Thomas is 27 years old and we both graduated from Western Washington University in the last 2 years. We have (industrial) growing, business management, community building/leadership and event planning experience. Our future plans include building a tiny house on wheels, getting our own land, and creating a biodynamic/off-the-grid farm of our own BUT we still have a lot to learn. Do you have a spot open for us OR do you know of any other farms/communities in Western Washington or Oregon that might be a good fit?
We are interested in learning about fermentation, composting, mushrooms, beekeeping, seed saving, earthen building, wild foods, herbalism and natural medicine, green energy (off-the-grid living), water collection and filtration, carpentry, food preservation, community building, and a lot more!
