I am new to the forum. I am experienced veg gardener and keen to recycle bath waste to water my garden. I recently connected a stop and garden hose fitting to the bottom of my 40mm bath waste that drops about 3.5m from first floor. When I drain the bath I get a good flow at the hose fitting but as soon as I connect a normal garden hose (about 10m) the pressure drops to virtually nothing. My physics knowledge says that the water should have the energy from the drop to push it along the hose - but I must be wrong! Any thoughts / advice would be greatly appreciated.
