I've read so much here about the California desert being a difficult place for permaculture legally and from a resource practicality standpoint. After living on the land for a few months and reading the county code a few times I came to a realization: sometimes you have to go and see for yourself.

I have started a LLC and I am building a tech park with incredibly talented engineers.

The goal is to create an open source, replicable model. Necessity is the mother of innovation - that's why my belief is that the most talented minds need to come together off-grid and innovate in order to bring permaculture to a wider audience.

This post is intentionally brief but would like to put a call out for any software engineering or permaculture experts who want to embark on a difficult but potentially rewarding adventure. While I can't promise success - the land is there now and I live there, but it won't get far without the permaculture expertise which I am learning but have an incredibly long way to go.
