My Seattle-based business specializes in urban permaculture-centric landscape design, architecture, and other cool design stuff.  We are hoping to pick up a few new projects this fall, and currently running an urban yard design promotion (see attached flyer), where we will re-imagine your patio, balcony, porch, or small yard.  We're happy to work on projects located anywhere, with homeowners and renters alike, and can design for any budget!  We are eager to work with folks who want to add a little more permaculture into their urban space and don't know quite where to start.  Fall is a great time for change!

We are converting our small urban lot into a food forest, and have an existing 12' abundant and flourishing camellia tree (camellia japonica) that we would like to retain and utilize as part of a guild.  I have been making delicious tea out of the leaves for use in my homemade kombucha.

Looking for suggestions on types of plants to add around it to develop the guild.  Possibly other plants for tea or pollination?  

It is in a very sunny and well drained location, in Seattle (zone 8a).

We are ramping up our business, Gridless Studio. We are a Seattle-based interdisciplinary studio, offering art, design, and education - all related to and with a permaculture focus. Our team consists of artists, teachers, and licensed architects (with PDC's and PTT's).

We are currently seeking new projects in the realm of natural building, permaculture design plans, and teaching opportunities.

Do you need help with a Permaculture Design Plan? We can create drawings and designs for projects of any scale, with experience in both urban and rural scales.

Are you interested in building a sustainable house or modifying your existing home? We have a licensed architect on staff who can help you get through the permitting and planning process, while creating a fantastic sustainable, permaculture-centric designed house.

Do you need help teaching a class? We are interested in co-teaching opportunities, and have a wealth of knowledge.

Do you need a sculpture for your magnificent permaculture landscape? We accept commissions for fabulous sculptures created from recycled materials - remember, beauty is a function! (along with sculptures that help capture water, make perches for birds, and a place for vines to grow up)
