I was wondering if anybody has a good idea about connecting an earth bag foundation to a metal building? I am looking at buying a metal building from Duro Span Steel Buildings. I am not planning on putting it on a concrete slab. I want to have a crawl space underneath the building. The steel building that I am thinking about getting has steel base plates (I will attach the base connector manual below). I am wondering if there is a way of either attaching a concrete layer on top of the earth bags to have base plates sit on. Or doing it with wood? Base plates have to sit on a 10" width foundation.
