Just a thought since you have solar use a horse tank heater in barrel for winter. It keeps tanks warm in michigan for winter months.

Hi, i'm moving back to Tennessee lived in Chattanooga for about 20 years been gone awhile we moved to Alabama lived about 5 yrs before going north to help with parents now moving back . I have found land in Tennessee is more reasonable. what I'm looking for since i'm single older female a place that's safe. I want to be off grid and homestead just don't want to be in known problem areas if any one could point me in the right direction i would appreciate it. Thanks Diane
