Echoing a previous post about the pitfalls of having a rocket mass heater in the house, I am looking at the outdoor wood furnace industry uses with an outdoor unit that transfers the heat indoors via hot water thru insulated pex lines. Could a rocket mass heater be built with a loop of copper lines in the thermal mass of the unit to transfer this efficiently into the house and released to the house by means of a large radiator or two? Sent to the basement household circulation or natural distribution like that used by pellet stove users employ. Easily doable or much bigger hurdles than meets the eye?
