Acorns best left in running water for 2 weeks at least, Try puting a bag of them in your toilet cistern so as you flush you change the water, once they taste ok, remove, dry, and finish milling them, make flour and substitute part of your flour with them in all baking.

Try finding what local Nematodes there are that ants dislike, in the UK we have 3 main types of ants Red Black and Wood ants, i only bother getting rid of the red ants, unfortunately when i water with Nematodes All ants move out for the duration of the summer, abnd when in the house, try Borax and honey they love it, sadly for them.
