Hadn't considered them combining both structures. I was thinking more about the blower pulling air from the enclosure then moving it into the barn, air would come from outside into the structure, not from the barn. The barn is presently set up for in floor radiant heat but I didn't want to waste the wood heating it 24/7 when it will only be used occasionally on the wknds and I was hoping a forced air wood heat would be something I could light up on a Friday night so it would be ready for use on the wknd then just left to burn out until needed again.

First post, been getting the news letter and lurking for years tho. Anyway, dilema I have is I need heat in my 30x60 barn but insurance says no indoor wood because of gas fumes. Here's what I'm wondering. I have an indoor wood stove that will heat the 2000 sq ft but obviously cannot install it inside so wondering if building a say 4'x4' square x 8' tall block enclosure outside to put the stove in then adding a 550cfm blower through the wall would work. Anyone try this?
