Hi Alec,

Thanks for writing to us. You can send more info about what you are looking for to farm.position@mail.com

To be clear we are not interested in hiring anyone who provides work or services to us from outside of our farm community. We are looking for folks who might be attracted to this way of life to come live with us and work with us achieving our shared vision of a sustainable, self reliant, mutually supportive, farm based community.  Living largely outside the money based economy and living a more direct, immediate and less intermediated life.

Come Live and Work Together with Us on our Cooperative Farm

Established Farm Community in PNW (west of Willamette Valley) seeks motivated folks with proven track record (and relevant skill set) to live with us and work together on our cooperative farm.

We are the real deal. We live on a 300 acre farm (that we own outright) nestled in a 700,000 acre national forest. About 75 acres are non-forest. Three creeks (you can look in and see the salmon run) run thru the property. There are green houses, shops, hay fields, animals, fenced in (elk & bear proof) gardens and orchards; processing kitchens; tractors; etc; etc. We also have well established non-farm income. We are as together as one might reasonably hope for.

We offer: a variety of modest housing styles, quality family style meals, monthly stipend, community wide internet; community vehicle usage; proximity to ocean as well as urban attractions; enriching and supportive village type environment.

Skills we are looking for: construction, electrical & plumbing; farming, gardening, permaculture, animal husbandry, equipment operation; logging/chainsaw; office/administration.
