Well, what I'm trying to reach you about is a wonderful video about humane chicken harvest you made with Alexia Allen (who I am now in touch with). I am making a radio programme called The Edible Pet. It follows my own family's journey with urban hen keeping in Edinburgh, Scotland. Alexia's approach and the video have been very important to us and extremely helpful when I came to have to deal with a dead chicken after a fox had got in. The programme explores our attitudes to chickens. We are carnivores, we plucked, gutted and generally prepared it but gave it to someone else to eat as we were too sad!
I would like permission to use some of the audio from the video as part of the storytelling. Alexia is OK with it if you are.
