Perhaps because it goes in and comes out moist,
diatomaceous earth is not unhealthy. In other words,
contact with mucous membrane renders it wet enough to
prevent damage to animal or man.
Does anyone have a better explanation of
why such sharp molecules do no harm to us,
and even benefit us therefore?
