Hey there. I need advice. I don't know what to do. Maybe someone can help.
I'm a 26 year old Christian, and I was raised in Midwestern Missouri. I was given a talent to design and that is my main source of income, living as a designer and animator in Los Angeles. I don't like the city and crave the simple natural outdoors once again. However I'm making good money, but living here is just not worth it and I miss values of the Midwest, going on hikes, hunting and fishing in the wild. Etc. I'm looking for a person, friends, advice, anything I can get to help me along the way. I would love to live somewhere off the grid, by myself and a partner, and raise a family but my ultimate goal is a complete life fulfilled by tasks to live and survive, but I don't know where a good place to do this is or know anyone else likeminded, as I'm new! (Hello!)
I guess what I'm hoping to get out of this is to meet someone else that is interested, prices of necessities in different locations temperatures, or gain knowledge of the subjects of where is a good place that is friendly or newcomers, easy dealing with permits making cabins, moderately good temperatures to survive in, good soils etc. I was thinking the northwest USA and even Alaska perhaps. I want to be alone, in nature, with a wife and kids later down the road when it's settled. I absolutely am fascinated by fish, always have been and always will be. I could fish everyday all day long. I love water just as much. Any advice welcome!
