76 acres with a stream in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas. There are no building codes in this area.
We'd like to have a few friendly neighbors. If you are looking for a rual setting where you can grow your own food, park your tiny home,
or you'd like to build a house send an email to Buckhappy@hotmail.com or simply call Sandi at 540-371-5379.
Thanks

Hello, I'm new here. My name is Victoria.
My husband, Steve and I are empty nesters. We are looking for about 20 to 30 acres in the Ozark Mountains,
Arkansas area. We want to take the plunge and set up a private homestead. We have been studying this
subject and planning this for several years now. Our property will include a large aquaponics greenhouse,
a small orchard, we want to grow berries, build a large workshop, and we want to raise chickens. We'd like
to get serious about saving seeds as one of our small enterprises. Anyway, that should give you a general idea
of what our vision is.

We'd like to find other people or families to join us. What we like is the idea of having some like-minded
neighbors living close by. Mainly because we are concerned about the vulnerabilities of living off grid all by
ourselves in the wilderness. What we don't want is anything that resembles one of those hippy type
communities. In other words, we're not too crazy about anything that imposes religious doctrines or beliefs
on the group, any political beliefs, group yoga gatherings or any mandatory rules of any sort. I have nothing
against communities like this, but it's not really a fit for us. While we do have our own opinions I don't want
to spend my time having others convince me of something nor do I want to convince others into believing
what I believe. We just want to live off-grid and do our own thing with neighbors who also want to live
off-grid and do their own thing.

We are willing to buy the 20-30 acres and parcel off some of the land for a limited number of other like-minded
individuals. Please contact me if this sounds like something you'd like to explore.

We currently own our own home in Virginia. We plan to pack up and turn our home over to a property
management company to manage our rental. We have capital and a monthly income. We are in our young
60's. We are home-bodies. We like to read and write and we spend a great deal of time on the computer.

We have considered building a sort of community center that can be shared by everyone. We thought it
might be a nice place for socializing. Perhaps a small kitchen, a few tables and chairs, maybe a bar with stools,
a cozy fireplace, and a place to put all of these books that can be checked out like a free library. We have a lot
of tools, and so we have considered sharing our workshop as well.

We like strawbale or cob homes, but I really do want a normal flushing toilet. I like the idea of having a
few treehouses to use as guest rooms or temporary rentals. Like many of you, we have a number of innovative
ideas that we are willing to share.

Please contact us if this sounds like a possible fit for you.
God Bless, Victoria
