I just joined this site and I'm stoked! Content/community looks great. We are looking to reterrace a steep slope next to the entry of our land sanctuary, and we will be installing a native landscape on the hillside. Our entry building is the first permitted straw-bale building in Ventura county (built a few decades ago), complete with a fly-ash foundation and bluejean insulation, and I thought it would be a sweet gesture to continue the legacy by constructing the terraces out of recycled concrete slab. Does any one know where to go to find broken up sidewalk? Do I go to the dump? Or just drive around til I see a demolition project? We're based out of Ojai, CA.
