New to this forum. We just bought 0.42 acre house/lot in Sacramento, and I'm looking to turn it into a mini permaculture food forest. Being new homeowners of a fixer property, my permaculture garden budget is currently $0.
Looking for local permies to connect with and also if anyone is willing to donate any cuttings/seeds/divisions/scions of trees/shrubs/herbs/perennial vegetables - that would be great!! I have a couple baby goji berry plants that I started from cuttings last year that I am willing to give for exchange, that's about all I can part with right now, but I'm sure there will be more to come in the future and I love to share/exchange knowledge and plants!
Also, I want to get into top-bar beekeeping, but I've never done it before. I've read Les Crowder's book and watched his lectures, that's the extent of my knowledge.
Would love to connect with some local top-bar enthusiasts who would enjoy having a shadow for a while!
