My first Wofati attempt is not real wood, but it tastes alot better!

ya'll gotta Read "The man who quit money" the Fascinating book about Daniel Suelo. I paint houses for a living and have a hard time charging people I constantly feel. I am not charging enough for how hard I work quality work, but I do. when I did a house at $16,000 and I hear they got a bid for $30,000. I really can't quite hardly believe that someone would pay $30,000 to have their house painted when I already feel like I am way overcharging at $16,000, but I guess that is the game most people work to make money to pay bills. Daniel Suelo said: screw the entire system.

how should we rsvp? I will make it to Wofatif Week, barring blizzards.Very excited! also, will there be a week to just help with random tasks? That was pretty fun last October, too. But 100% agree that a theme week focusing on finishing one main task at a time is the way to go if the goal is actually finishing prioritized projects at the lab!!!

I would like to volunteer on a cob project to get experience in the overall process. I did see there were some workshops over in Missoula with Paul, but there seemed to be a long waiting list.

    Thanks

hi Pete, I am in Spokane and am looking for a source of clay to build a practice RMH in a covered area at  my backyard and then maybe one in my skoolie or shed cabin. I would love some help we can make an event out of it!

Where to find clay in Spokane? I have a truck to haul if some one has quality clay on their land or knows a locally scavengable deposit.

I went to Rocket Mass Heater workshop at Wheaton labs in 2022 and am confident and eager to build one finally. One in our primary house being the goal. to get off natural gas. Wheaton Labs is awesome you should go! Their Fall Fest is coming up in October btw. I am going if you or anyone  wants to carpool let me know.

Rad Power bikes are a great low cost powerful ebike company. I see these all over the Pacific Northwest. People really seem to use them as car replacements. Especially the cargo bike called the RadWagon. I test rode one this summer and was very impressed. Would buy one right now if I had the $1,500.

Thanks for the updates. Are you planning squash and potatoes, etc just in case they mature? Or do you fully expect them to mature planting this late in the season?
