We have a small family homestead in Ferrum, VA (zip 24088 ) and are ready to move on to our next adventure! We have a 30ft Colorado Yurt on a 40 x 40ft deck with an attached 2-story 16 x 20 stick built addition with wood and propane heat. Our 14.5 mostly-wooded acres has delicious and clean well water which drains to a greywater system. We have a 24 x 36 solid wood barn with water and electric, some fencing that is currently holding our dairy goats and a horse, a spring-fed creek, chicken coop, small raised-bed organic garden, fruit trees, herbs, flowers, and lots of wildlife! We are close to Rocky Mount, Floyd, and Roanoke VA and to the pristine Philpott Lake.
